In the aftermath of the 1917 Bolshevik revolution the Jandieri family like most noble families and entrepreneurs of the Czarist Russia had to scramble to either adapt or leave. the Family of Zohrab Jandieri had to leave the newly created Soviet Union for greener pastures. Since this noble family had a vast and expansive business Empire spanning into Asia and Europe, they decided to call their new home in Gorgan, Iran. The family had for sometime, a large warehouse and presence in this region whereby the would ship the goods coming from the far East into the Russian Empire and export goods back to the far East and Iran. this warehouse was a strategic midpoint for shipped goods. Zohrab, pictured below with his family. His Wife, Princess Marie was of another noble family of Georgia.
